WHAT WINTER BLUES?

Haven't you heard? Winter is the new "It Season"!  There's plenty of adventure to be had in Harriman State Park and in the villages nestled against the park.

We've compiled a list of favorite winter activities and events scheduled for the 2022-2023 season. Be sure to mark your calendars and reserve your spot where applicable.

HIKE THROUGH A WINTER WONDERLAND!

Join Marlon Smith and his Hike Live Love Adventures team for scheduled hikes beginning in December. The team consists of A+ guides who not only have years of experience leading in Harriman State Park but also teach novice to advanced outdoor survival skill workshops through their Urban and Outdoor Survival group. Reserve your spot as classes tend to fill up.

If you plan to go without the group, heed these  important tips by Marlon Smith before you head out.

Be sure to purchase waterproof trail maps by the

New York-New Jersey Trail Conference.

SNOWSHOEING & CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING

When there's a decent amount of snowfall, outdoor enthusiasts eagerly take to Harriman State Park with snowshoes and/or cross-country skis!
