MISSION

The goal of Explore Harriman is to have Harriman State Park visitors enjoy their experience by necessitating good leave-no-trace practices and keeping them informed—where to explore, eat and stay.

Explore Harriman celebrates outdoor adventure whether it be hiking, biking, kayaking, or climbing. Visitors treasure this parkland as do residents and businesses of Tuxedo, Sloatsburg, Suffern, and Stony Point. We endeavor to preserve our "big-backyard" lifestyle.

As we partner with Chambers of Commerce, Rockland County Tourism, and Orange County Tourism in building responsible-tourism marketing, locals and visitors can continue to enjoy adventure on and off trail.
